I was the Head of Wardrobe at the Sudbury Theatre Centre for most of their 2008/2009 season. There I did 5 mainstage shows and 1 children's show. I designed costumes for 3 of those, but for the others I was responsible for the execution and maintenance of the costume designs. I made some garments, as well as cut garments, organized costumes, took care of costume stock, paperwork (budget tracking), went shopping, assembled special pieces, and then was part of the running crew and did costume maintenance. In a small theatre company the staff are called upon for many skills. Here are some photos of the best parts of that 9 month contract.
