Granville & 14th Plaza Parklet: Ground Mural
Public benches, stools, overhang structure & and tables built by GNW Scene Shop. I had the pleasure of leading the paint team to create this "mural" of dots, that change color along the length of the block. I went with a white spray can as a primer and then used Deckote as the top coat under advice from the rep from Dulux Paints who I found quite knowledgeable.

Step With Me: Interactive Public Art, July 2021
Through my work at GNW Scene Shop I had the pleasure of assembling and painting the sculptural elements of this wonderful piece of interactive public art. It was created by Tangible Interaction with co-sponsors Bentall Centre and the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association, to promote, celebrate and advocate for the LGBTQ1AS+ community in Vancouver. The metal base, PVC pipes and custom 3D printed parts were fabricated, assembled, painted & finished at GNW Scene Shop, while the team at Tangible created all the electronics and programming. Once installed on its rainbow staircase, each horn would make a different sound when someone stepped on its level. I wish I'd seen it in action myself!
