Here are some past decoration and installation projects that I have really enjoyed.
CirQlar

I have been collaborating with the producers of CirQlar for the past year or so, helping to create super-special environments for their super-wonderful events. These parties feature live performances by musicians and circus performers, as well as cutting edge DJ’s from Toronto, the States and Europe. So far I helped create custom decor items for their events “Bezerka”, “Shag”, and “Element.” Not to mention my troupe Circus Alchemy has performed at most of Cirqlar’s parties… it’s been great to be a part of such a powerful creative team.
Promise
I also collaborate with Dave & Irving of Promise to help decorate their dance parties – also a fabulous experience every time.
Promise Garden Party - March 2012

Promise NYE 2010/11 – I did not make the dinosaurs or the giant godzilla beast – they were rescued from a horrible landfill demise! Aren’t they crazy?

breakandenter
In September 2009 I decorated a dance party for the breakandenter crew. I brought in my talented friend Taliya Cohen to help with her fantastic cardboard skyscrapers and wall taping installation, and I did some giant charcoal drawings. It turned out great!

Cirque du Soleil at Luminato Festival 2009
In mid-summer 2009 I was fortunate enough to be on the decoration crew for Cirque’s unusual presentation at the Harbourfront Centre as part of Toronto’s Luminato Festival. The set was huge, spanning the property at Harbourfront Centre, designed by Keith Greco from L.A. Here are some shots of the parts I worked on.

Trash Lanterns – Mooseman Festival 2009
I created these lanterns from garbage and dollar store stuff, with the help of some good volunteers, to decorate at a weekend gathering of the Ontario Burning Man community. My interest in lanterns and lighting has found an avenue of expression.
